Somewhere in the Milky Way

I was born in Jönköping, Sweden, and immigrated to the U.S. as a young man. After graduating from high school in rural Nebraska, I headed to Florida and began an incredible chapter with the Walt Disney Company. Over the next ten years, I built a strong foundation in retail management, learning the art of operations, service, and leadership from one of the world’s most iconic brands. It was also where I met my wife—and where my sense of adventure began to take shape.
Next stop: the entertainment industry. I joined my brother and a trailblazing online marketing team promoting major pop acts like *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. It was a high-energy time of innovation, fueled by early digital strategies, long nights, and a whole lot of grit.
From there, a friend invited me to help launch a real estate venture focused on acquiring and converting hotels into condominiums. In just four years, we generated $30 million in sales, sold out two developments, and built an exceptional team to manage the properties. It was my first deep dive into real estate—and I was hooked.
That passion led me to the vacation rental industry, where I began in marketing, moved into business development, and eventually served as CPO and COO. I loved rolling up my sleeves in market research and analytics, especially during the early evolution of revenue management for the industry. One of the most exciting outcomes was the development of a new category: purpose-built vacation homes, now widely adopted across the U.S.
Armed with this experience, I moved into consulting and had the privilege of working on unique projects, including the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando. My consulting work took me up and down the East Coast before I took on a leadership role overseeing revenue management for boutique hotels and short-term rentals at a shared services company.
After the company was sold, I joined Vacasa—the largest vacation rental platform in the U.S. It was a valuable experience that offered a look at the industry at scale, along with the challenges and opportunities that come with it. Still, I found myself missing the energy and agility of fast-growing, entrepreneurial companies.
So when a friend reached out about a luxury vacation rental company in Hawai‘i, I didn’t hesitate. I spent three incredible years there, building and leading a top-tier Revenue Management and Analytics team focused on driving performance for some of the world’s most extraordinary properties—from high-end condos to ultra-luxury estates.
Along the way, another longtime friend and I had often discussed starting our own vacation rental business—one where we could apply our shared values and deep experience to build something truly special. That vision came to life when he partnered with another successful entrepreneur to launch a real estate holding company dedicated to acquiring property management firms and premium vacation rental assets.
Today, I’m thrilled to be part of this forward-thinking team as Chief Revenue Officer, continuing the journey with people I respect and work I love. And while I’ve covered a lot of ground, I know the best adventures are still ahead.
